#31 Week of March 30-April 3

Because we have been learning about animals, one of the things we wanted to do was raise bees.

Bees are very beneficial. 

We are going to be planting a garden, AND we live right next to orchards.

So, Dad and Mom went to a beekeeping class.

We wanted to make sure that when we get our beekeeping things, 

we know how to do it right.

We had an activity this week with lots of girls and women.

We hiked 4 MILES to the Payson Temple from Santaquin.

Because we have been studying animals in science, Biology, we got our pass to the Aquarium. We have AT LEAST 2 trips planned, so it was cheaper to get a family pass than to come two separate times.

We got to pet the starfish!

Did you know that if a starfish's leg gets cut off, it can grow a new one?!

From one starfish you could have 5 new ones! It would just take a REALLY long time.

We tried to pet the manta rays, but they were too scared and buried into the sand.

Pretty cool, still.

We got to see the sharks at feeding' time!

Did you know that sharks don't see their food very well, they have to sense it.

We loved watching the penguins from below.

THIS IS THE BIGGEST SHARK EVER!

It was a prehistoric shark.

Debany met one of the biologists there and they shared their love of animals together.

Myanna found an art project she wanted to try:

Mosaic Penquin! 

As part of a homeschool group in our area, we were in charge of putting together a couple of games for a Spring Party.

We made a rubber band egg target (from a Minute to Win It).

AND... a Don't Eat the PEEP! game.

(Similar to "Don't eat Pete" or "Don't eat the Chief")

Everyone REALLY loved our games!
